Members’ published work

In addition to appearing within our annual anthology, many of our members have had work published in their own books or been selected as contributors to external anthologies. Some details appear below, together with links (in blue) for further information where available.

Seeing the Trees and the Woods

Anne Hodnette and Michael Alma have published a poetry book, Witness, which celebrates the survival of a thousand year-old church, St Mary’s Houghton-on-the-Hill. Books are available from the poets or from www.houghtonstmarys.org.uk

Roger Noons’s Slimline Tales was published by Chapeltown Books in 2018. He is a regular contributor to The Blackcountryman and the following journals of poetry using Japanese forms; Blithe Spirit, hedgerow and Presence for whom he also reviews.

Together with Ros Woolner, Roger has published BUDDIES in 2025. It recounts the story of how they began their collaborative literary adventure in 2021 and continues until the present time with examples of their efforts. Copies of the books are available from the authors.
